At PwC here in New Zealand, we have an annual assurance function for our service group in the office. There is always a theme - this year it was "If I wasn't an accountant, I would be..." People don't take the theme too seriously and use it as an excuse to go to the costume store to find something funny. Paul and I decided to go as the New Zealand Badminton team in honor of the hilarious team nickname that I explained in an earlier post.
The party was a great time. Surprisingly, virtually everyone participated and let loose a bit. It was a fun concept and I doubt we would get this level of participation back in the States. Everyone stayed out late and there were a few headaches the next morning but a fun time was had by all.

Accountants are a rather peculiar lot.
